Event Description: The business community is already preparing for a successful 2015 legislative session to continue the mission to improve South Carolina’s business climate. This important policy-changing work begins at home, at the grassroots level. The Grassroots Meeting will be an open-forum session and is one of the first steps in creating the Competitiveness Agenda, the business community’s annual list of legislative priorities. It will begin with a legislative review from South Carolina Chamber staff before moving into an open discussion of legislative issues that you believe must be addressed. Numerous business leaders, community leaders and legislators attended last year’s regional grassroots meeting.
