The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce's Business Speaks at the State House, a gathering of over 500 of South Carolina's leading business people, constitutional officers and members of the General Assembly, is set to take place January 14, 2009. Held at the Marriott Columbia, this year's Business Speaks town meeting will begin at 4 p.m. This is a special opportunity to hear updates on the 2009 Competitiveness Agenda and the General Assembly and speak directly to your House and Senate
leaders.
In addition, Senate and House members will participate in an open panel discussion moderated by David Stanton. Important business issues such as healthcare, infrastructure, economic development incentives, environnment and energy will be discussed.

Cancellation Policy
If unable to attend, substitutions are welcome anytime prior to the event. A 50 percent processing fee applies to all cancellations. Registrants are responsible for the full registration fee for any cancellation made after 5 p.m., seven days prior to event. Registration fees will not be refunded or waived after that date. No-shows will be charged the full registration fee.
