OSHA Training

In order to maintain South Carolina’s competitiveness, our workplaces must be safe and compliant with the latest federal and state standards, which is why the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce provides 10- and 30-hour OSHA training. Taught by a U.S. OSHA-authorized instructor, the courses are designed to present practical, proven information that can be implemented immediately in the workplace.

Participants who complete the training courses will receive an official OSHA 10- or 30-hour course completion card from the U.S. OSHA, which will demonstrate an effort towards voluntary compliance with all applicable OSHA standards and will provide protection during OSHA inspections.

An OSHA update will be held March 24, 2009 at the Radison in Columbia, S.C. Register now.

Forklift Training

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce provides important safety training and knowledge to workers with its forklift training courses. These comprehensive one-day workshops cover general safety, operation, training and guidelines for operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) or forklift, enabling participants to develop training programs for forklift operators. All the training offered in these valuable courses covers mandatory classroom training instruction requirements of the current OSHA forklift standard.

The next PIT/Forklift training course will be held March 23, 2009 at the Radison in Columbia. Register now.
