Grassroots Network FAQs

Why is it important to update my personal profile in the system?

Updating your personal profile in the grassroots system enables you to let the South Carolina Chamber know exactly the type of electronic information you want to receive on legislative activities. In addition, by letting the Chamber know what legislators you have business, civic or personal relationships with, you can be contacted at key times to make a call, send an email, or write a letter to a specific legislator on issues that are important to you.

What are the annual Grassroots Network regional meetings?

Each year, during the late summer months, the South Carolina Chamber in conjunction with local chambers hosts nine Grassroots Network regional meetings across the state. During these open forum sessions, hundreds of business leaders gather to voice their opinions about issues that affect the business community. From there, the Chamber’s annual Competitiveness Agenda is formed.

How many members does the Grassroots Network have?

There are close to 9,000 business leaders are members of the Grassroots Network, and there is always room for more.

Is there a cost to join?
