(Columbia, S.C.) – The South Carolina Chamber of
Commerce, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – SC State Council
and the publishers of SC BIZ magazine are pleased to announce rankings of the
Best Places to Work in South Carolina. Presented by Nexsen Pruet LLC, the Best
Places to Work recognize South Carolina’s most innovative and top-notch
employers. The 2009 rankings were announced at an awards banquet October 8.
For Small/Medium Employers (15-249 employees), the rankings

The innovative Best Places to Work program has quickly emerged
as the standard for workplace achievement and creativity in South Carolina. The
Best Places to Work competition is open to all South Carolina for-profit and
not-for-profit organizations with at least 15 employees working in South
Carolina.

example as superb organizations for our state’s workforce to prosper,” said Otis
B. Rawl Jr., president and chief executive officer of the South Carolina Chamber
of Commerce.
