Here’s How: Encourage all of your employees to register to vote. The deadline to register is October 4. Display the Chamber’s GOTV poster in your break room and in common areas. Have printed voter registration forms in your office break room. Print �October 4 is the deadline to register to vote in 2008 elections� in the comment field on paychecks. After October 4, print �November 4 is Election Day. Make Your Mark: Vote.� Invite local election officials to visit your office, register employees and demonstrate voting machines. Make sure employees are provided time to vote on Tuesday, November 4 – Election Day. Make sure employees know the rules about voting by absentee ballot.
