The 10-hour OSHA General Compliance Course gives a very broad overview of the major OSHA topics and regulations. It will provide participants with one and a half days of intensive review of current OSHA requirements in the area of occupational safety and health.

For a more comprehensive look at the OSHA 1910 general industry regulations you should attend the four-day, 30-hour OSHA General Compliance Course. This course covers the current occupational safety and health compliance topics in a lot more detail and is ideal for the safety professional who wants a complete understanding of the OSHA laws.

OSHA RECORDKEEPING
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health announced recently that effective January 1, 2015, there are new requirements for reporting severe injuries. In addition, they updated the list of industries exempt from recordkeeping requirements. Bring current cases and specific questions with you and get the answers that you need to stay in compliance. OSHA recordkeeping generates more questions than any other OSHA regulation.

Inaccurate OSHA recordkeeping and reporting have resulted in single company fines in excess of $1,000,000 for employers. OSHA recordkeeping and reporting violations can yield penalties of up to $10,000 per occurrence and can also result in criminal prosecution proceedings initiated by OSHA through the Federal Department of Justice. One hundred percent (100%) accurate records are a must.

CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a federal OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card. This card demonstrates your company’s efforts toward voluntary compliance with OSHA standards and will be useful during an inspection.

Cancellation Policy
If unable to attend, substitutions are welcome anytime prior to the program date. A 50% processing fee applies to all event cancellations. Registrants are responsible for the full registration fee for any cancellation made after 5 p.m., seven days prior to the event. Registration fees will not be refunded or waived after that date. No-shows will be charged the full registration fee.
